Hi Big Roo. You need to do what we do, and pour over Google Maps. Switch from map view to satellite view. Just remember to take no risks. Enjoy your fishing.

@BigR000 I'm doing the same thing as you, looking for my first Jew! Went down yesterday and there are some spots you can fish from right near that rail bridge. Check out Google earth, park at Tempe station and follow that little path down to the rail bridge. Plenty of spots along the bank you can cast from.

Yep, that is Tempe. You should see some of the trevally and kingfish swimming in the same area - absolutely fantastic.....

I've caught a couple of jewies there...a 10kilo and 6-7kilo one....didn't use lures though and took alot of patience

This is the Cooks River. Don't know the name of the bridge, but it is very obvious once you start going up the river. As a matter of fact, some of the hottest action happened with the airport runways in sight!
