when I got my cartilage pierced they did it with a needle. I cant wait until i get my navel pierced.

I've got my navel pierced as well now, that doesn't hurt at all in my opinion :) cartilge is worse, navel's just a strange pinching feeling when they clamp it and then it doesn't actually hurt =]

it hurts a little bit but not much, far less than if you have it done with a gun. Just make sure they numb it and it's fine :)
