Windows Movie Maker. Usually I put that in the credits but think I forgot on this one. You should check out my Pulp Halo video too if you liked this one.
He was mainly a jazz composer, but his works (mainly Powerhouse) was used in a lot of classic (looney toons) cartoon, especially during Rube Goldberg machine runs and assembly line sequences. He didn't write Powerhouse specifically for cartoons though.
Here's a quote from the original comment on this video:
"An ode to Raymond Scott. Creater of all that great Looney Toons music"
it's under the name of drevilgn, so if it's not you, find out who,. Regardless, Raymond Scott did not create "all that Looney Toons" music. I'd rather have the facts right than spell Looney Toons flawlessly! Ha!
What I said is still a fact, he did create great Looney Toons music. You just took me saying "creater of all that great Looney Toons Music" as meaning, "the creater of all Looney Toons music". I understand that he was not the only person responcible for music in the Looney Tunes cartoons. He didn't write it all, just the great stuff.
Watch the cartoons - it's "Looney Tunes", not "Toons". Scott's music, arranged by Carl Stalling (and his successor Milt Franklyn), also appeared in Warner's sister line of cartoons called "Merrie Melodies".
For a complete list of Scott's songs that appear in Warner Bros. cartoons, alphabetically arranged by cartoon, go to raymondscott[dot]com[slash]WB[dot]html.
Uh..Raymond Scott is NOT the inventor of "all that Lonney Toons" music, Carl W. Stalling had everything to do with it- they appropriated Powerhouse adn a few other diities, Mr. Scott was never credited. See how misleading the internet can be?
Powerhouse was written, performed, and first recorded by Raymond Scott in 1936. There's no mention of "Lonney Toons" [sic] music in my video or that he was the inventor or all the music involved with the cartoons.

You need to do a song with The Merry Go Round Broke Down, and Dance of the Comedians.

All it needed was a Looney Toons intro and Porky saying "That's all folks"
NUTCASE71733 2 years ago
or better yet, the looney tunes outro.

This is actually pretty clever. It captures the spirit of the song's use in the Warner Bros. cartoons to a T.
Nice job. I loved it.
