International aid after a natural disaster is good but western countries use it to make propaganda. Trade is better than aid. Western countries like to use trade sanctions as a weapon. How many thousnds innocent iraqi women and children died of malnutrition when America impose food embargo on Iraq after the first gulf war.

I would say, if it is AnShan ShuJi instead of military government in power, China is also willing to offer aid to Burma. But it is quite impossible for China to take a side on Burma's internal affair. If China stops aids to military government, it simply means China sides with AnShan Shuji.
An example is Pakistan, no matter whether Pakistan is controlled by military dictatorship or publicly elected government, China always remains a good relationship with them and offers aid to them.

I do not think that with all the diplomatic support from Chinese and the money they dole out (its easy for them to buy a couple of goons in milirary garb than win over real leaders) it may well be another Rwanda or Darfur. They can buy enough spectators for ten Olympics.
Why dont we start exposing these Burmese and Chinese diplomats (UN or otherwise) with cameras and Bullhorns and reverse their own "We have your pictures.. we'll get you"
