Yeah, it's the same rank. Online or single player doesn't matter. However, if you want to ever see level 40, you are likely going to have to do multiplyaer matches. You won't get enough xp otherwise.

Rank is just your profile's stat. It doesn't change if you're online or just single player. It's based on how much experience you get from enemies, whether in campaign mode or in TDM. The max rank is 40.

You get it at rank 36. It'll be a while before you unlock it, but once you do, it'll be worth it. Best aircraft in the game, overall (in my opinion).

I want the SU-47, and looks better, but for now best plane for me is SU-37 Too. SU-47 is unlocked at Level 40 btw

I personally don't like the "remote control" look of Off, nor do I like the fact that in that mode, any aircraft can do just about any maneuver. As far as keeping On mode always on in my and my friends' matches, I do well enough utilizing this ride's handling. This video is admittedly not my best performance with the Terminator by a long shot. I may get around to recording a more impressive one.

Where do people get their information?

On everything I have ever seen between the Su-37 and -35's the canards look identical, at least on the real aircraft.

EVERYTHING between the Su-35 and the Su-37 look identical, Canards, Wings, Fuselage, Cockpit, Rudders, Elevators.

At least I can't spot them from technical drawings and pictures of the two craft.

I'm sure you can tell them apart by how they fly, and possibly by the actual cockpits.

But at any distance, you can't tell.

the difference between the SU-35 and SU-37 is that the SU-35 has two dimensional thrust vectoring (pitch axis) and the SU-37 has 3 dimensional thrust vectoring (pitch and yaw axis)

Originally, the Su-35 had canards, was designed with canards, and did not have thrust vectoring.

I did a little more research, and found that the Su-35 has been monernized into a "4.5 genertation fighter, dropping the canards, upgrading all the flight controls, reducing the weight up front and finally,

2-D Thrust vectoring engines.

My original statement was not wrong, just outdated. on the original aircraft designated Su-35 and Su-37, the difference was thrust vectoring.

I must say that I have been a bit dissapointed by the aircraft models and animations used in almost all of the air combat (console) games that I have played since AC04. When all the aircraft had all of their moving parts... especially thrust vectoring nozzles and those tiny little winglets that sprout on the F-14 when it crosses the supersonic threshold (on the wing roots, just behind the engine intakes, and in front of the swing joints). Please tell me I'm not the only one to notice it.

There are far too many visual inaccuracies and omissions in this game, and yeah, it's pretty disappointing. It just smacks of laziness to have so many oversights. Ace Combat had far more fidelity, but whacha gonna do, right?

Wow. Hey Adnihilis. AstrayRaven from the forums. Pretty impressive. Out of curiosity what would you say is your favorite aircraft to use so far?

Everyone else... he's playing the game... he chose that aircraft... I'm pretty sure he knows what it is. And in the F-22, it's not the nozzles that move, but flaps (for lack of a better term) that guide the thrust.

I may be picking this up after all. Ace Combat 7 won't be released for a loooong time...

hah Hey. At 36, I have all but the Berkut. The Terminator here is probably my favorite. Other good ones are the Typhoon and the Mirage 2000-C or -5. The Gripen and F-15C are also decent. A lot of it has to do with not just the aircraft but the available weapons loadouts.

If and when AC7 comes, it won't be for QUITE a while, so yeah, in the meantime, this is at least something. It's not a bad game. It's fun enough, and I have a couple people I play with regularly who aren't jackasses.

A rarity indeed. Yeah it looks a lot more attractive seeing you play online without assistance off. So what about the special planes? All the pre-order bonuses, the Razorback and the Draken(I don't remember if that was it)? Are they pretty good or more or less just a perk?

The Draken's pretty good, better than the real deal was. heh The Razorback is ok, a bit slow, but at least it's not overpowered. At all. As for the pre-order bonuses, the F-18 HARV is great, but the other two are so-so. The FB-22 is pretty meh, the A-12 slow but maneuverable. I host my own games in On mode forced, and it works well. The options are alright. It's a bit addicting. All the things that annoyed us before are still there, plus a ton of bugs, but still, it's worth playing.

I got the game few days back, and my favourite aircraft is the MiG-33. Manouverable, and a nasty thing to have as an enemy. What level do you unlock the Su-35 and Su-37 in? Im looking forward to getting them.

I don't remember when you unlock the -35, but I think it's lower 30s. Aside from the Berkut, the -37 is the last plane you unlock at level 36. The MiG-33 is a pretty decent ride, I agree.

Long story short, If I understand correctly, the Su-37 is basically an Su-35, with thrust vectoring (and the associated modifications to keep it flyable). Other than that, they should look exactly the same.

If by "motor" you mean "thrust nozzle," then you're right about the real aircraft, but Ubisoft didn't bother adding that detail. The F-22 doesn't have moving nozzles.  The ACTIVE doesn't, either. None of those that should do. It's just like how the developers didn't care to include weapons bay doors opening on stealth aircraft. I didn't notice them moving in game, but if you say so. I barely use it, anyway. As for this being an Su-37, well, I have to say it's actually pretty funny you'd call me a liar about a video game, but ok. Like I said, if you're on the PS3, I'll show you in game, if it'd satisfy your curiosity.

The -27 lacks canards, for one. I'm rank 36, so yeah, this is the newest unlock. And trust me, nothing is as maneuverable (barring maybe the Berkut). Besides, look at the skin. It's a sort of brownish-purple. I don't know what sort of proof you're looking for.
