how much lift does that diy4x shackle flip give? I have 4inch blocks i want gone.. stock springs rear an 4inch fronts..  Awsome videos keep them coming lol

Looks good, but those shackle angles are atrocious. I don't know why people spend so much money on a shitty product. These lift companies are doing nothing but producing McDonalds signage and should be focusing on making longer springs for better ride while still producing lift. You know, you've done the swap. Just makes me sad to think that so many of these nice older Chevys will ride like dog shit.

@Tboninator I hear that, that shackle when all the weight is on the truck is not poiting forward like in this video. Manny has a buck stop bumber and 16,000 poud winch and 383 with all the acc, think it a mach 1 kit with all the brackets and all, dual batteries. I hope when all is back and installed they come out in the same angle just the other way. I tell people that lifted springs do what they do lift, and if you want a good ride and flex to go with tuff country for the low spring rate.

To be honest, I already know that they will not be much better than they are now. When you're lifting this high ideally you should be using coils, but at the very least longer leaf springs. For this much lift, I'd say 56's or 63's.

@Tboninator I have talked to him about many diff option. Hopefully after a test drive or two he will see how it rides and we can go from there. You know me i like 56's lol i have them front and back on my crusher lol. I'll keep ya informed on what he decides to do from then. I wanted to atlease more the shackle eye hole hanger forward like 1.5" just to get a good shackle angle.

@shawnsutube Lol, it funny this has been the biggest descusion on his build, he says he is taking it mudding and trail rideing and to the beach. But freakin A man it sooo damn nice to take mudding. Id rather see it in car shows towing me to wheeling events, and maybe to the beach. But you only live once sooo well see what happens. Video to come of this sucker in action on the STREETS or on the TRAILS??
