next to normal, is about a family, who is falling apart. the mother has mental illnesses, and this play is about not only her and her in relation to her illnesses, but in relation to her family. it's amazing!

its about her mom (to the left) and how she is Bi-polar with Psychotic features.. meaning she's a crazy crazy soul... mom has delusions about her son who died when he was 18 months old... but she still thinks he exists... this song is about how her daughter is ignored... which is very sad... the boy on the right is the delusion of her son...

As a therapist I find it an amazing depiction of how a client can change and grow... and either sink further and further into their delusions.. or how they can just make up their mind to get better!! I LOVE IT!!

.... I don't hear "cunt" at ALL haha. I'm hearing a very clear "prince", she just made the "s" sound at the end really hard. Think like when you make an "sssss" sound like a snake, you know how when you first make that sound it can sometimes sound like "tssss"? Well I think she just did that :) It's almost like she said "printss". But it def wasn't "cunt". I'm hearing a distinct "PRIN" in the beginning haha
