what is wrapped around the neck during the solo? Looks like a tie or a belt, what's the purpose of that, to mute the strings that aren't being fretted?

@matthewokrzesik Exactly! If you're just playing a solo with no open strings it makes it a bit easier to play it cleanly - it's quite common practise when recording, actually

I'm actually using a sock though... most people would get a hair tie haha

its full of harmonics !! u should listen to the orig. version more closely.
