@woodnsteel19 Main cause of recoil is the .577 Tyrranosaur round. Any round capable of over 10,000 ft. lbs. of energy is going to be a recoiling bitch without a muzzle brake. Shoot a bolt action .50 BMG without a muzzle brake it generates about a third more energy than the .577. Either round in almost any rifle without a brake is capable of breaking collar bones and dislocating a shoulder when shot in the prone position.
