@awesomejohnnet You got that right! No matter what he picks up, he sounds like Blues frickin' Saraceno. If you want further proof that the guy can rock anything, check out this quote from his website re: the "sound clips" Blues recorded for his signature Dirty Boy Pedals: "the sound Clips for the Germanium Boy and Afro Fuzz were done with a $99 Squire Strat (stock) and $150 Sears Silvertone amp with 10" speaker!" @elliotalfaro, don't know about the guitar, but the pups are Dimarzio, By the way the HSH pickups configuration is not anounced for sale at the Music-Man website, it only says HH pickups. ♫
@elliotalfaro This is the Ernie Ball "Reflex" model. @eliotalfaro is correct - the website lists the pickups and "custom DiMarzio humbuckers", but doesn't list the single-coil model, or even offer a way to purchase an HSH version. Another slick thing about this axe is you can also order it with a piezo pickup, and blend it however you'd like alongside the DiMarzios - sweet! Thanks for the comments guys. Keep rocking, and long live plaid!
@jorgeliguori I completely agree! I have an original plaid Yamaha RGZ820R, which was the first signature guitar to really bear his name. Then there are the Samick TV Twenties, which were technically his original design, but you're right - he's yet to have his "own" Music Man model. Hey Sterling Ball, you listening here? Something in Plaid, perhaps?
Always dug his playing, because when he came out he kinda was inbetween The Shred and Blues Rock.
