Every time I looked at Shockblast and Sixshot, I thought the same thing. He's a better G-1 Shockwave - certain looks better than that movie one.

Ignore the smartasses. I think it is a very nice piece, and the work that went into it looks to be very high quality, also. Far superior to the original, but could easily pass as an original. I think that's what all customizers strive for. You win.

My Shock wave has a silver eye it's dye cast like the legs, a lot of it is dye cast mixed with plastics. This reminds me of the Optimums prime 20th anniversary edition. Would be cool if he could transform the way the old one did thou but I understand seeing as he's made from a newer transformer it's hard to do. Still great job on the repaint. Keep it up.

I think its cool. I'm planning on making my own Shockwave, but this time he won't turn into a space gun. He'll be a quad changer: a robot, tank, a satellite , and a tripod cannon.

Colour is awsome, let me just say that, but i feel you could of possibly used the feature of the toy more, I mean where his back wheels the ones that became his backpack, I recon you could of attached the front of the gun to it somehow, making it a backpack, also where the shield used to be I reckon you could of used that as well, it just when you take this toys feautres off, it kinda makes the toy seem naked, know what I mean.

I used both barricades arms arms and I used the shoulder off an extra Sixshot that I had. The arm gun was taken off of an 80s gray Shockwave. Thanks

Yes that is why I needed to reFIX him to be Shockwave and now he looks good with my Classics and Universe figures. He makes a great Universe figure and is the same height as Classics Megatron who I also repainted to look G1 instead of like a Nerf gun.

Sure. All parts such as the arms and the Barrel come from the Energon Barricade figure. To retool the arms, you have to connect the arms from the Barricade figure with part of the shoulder from the Shockblast figure. Thanks for the comment.

LOL thanks. He was fun to put together and paint. He goes good next to my classics toys since it is apparent that Hasbro won't release a classics Shockwave. I hope they do but I wont hold my breath. If I do I will probably pass out.

I will take that as a good thing. Thank you. I wanted a more G1 type Schockwave to go with my classic figures and I figured he would go good with it. I repainted classics Megatron to be G1 accurate and now I have them both looking G1. YAY!

wow, i'm the first one to post a comment. amazing work, man! in my collection energon shockblast is the unofficial classic/universe shockwave. but your custom really would fit the line! where did you get the arms? do they fit without additional work? was it difficult to fix them on the basic figure?

Hey thanks for the comment. The arms came off an Energon Barricade. They took some re-tooling but was worth the extra work to make them fit.
