Really for me... being small town lower than low income with a mortgage and twin preschoolers... I just want to see milk and bread affordable again. I'd like to see a few jobs open up. I'd like to see some semblance of normalcy again. Fat chance, yes? ;o)

ninamichelle77- One of the things that I heard was being considered was killing cows. The idea being that they would kill off milk producing cows to prevent over production. This does not make sense to me since, the industry injects cattle with hormones to make them produce more milk. Why not simply outlaw the hormone which is believed harmful to humans anyway, not to mention your point about the cost of milk to begin with.

Which be the way was another bribery scandal. You know that the hormones used here are outlawed in Canada and Europe. It is interesting that according to studies, the use of hormones may increase milk production but it also reduces the life span of the cows.

Well... I am poor as a pauper but I do make my mortgage payment on time... I own both my cars and I already went to college but that payment is on time too ;o) I'd say I'm half way there... even if you are kidding!

People need to understand that while the government prints money it does not issue it. That is done by the Federal Reserve (banks). The government must borrow money same as everyone else. The risk of tax cuts is that people would not spend the money. If government borrows money to give to people who intend to save the money then they are essentially paying people to give people the money they are borrowing from them. Public works projects on the other hand directly create jobs.
