  • Yes I did think that the paint was thin as for "hiding the primer". I painted it in my own garage. I would say that 2 coats is not enough. If you do 3 coats you should will be fine. You have to make sure that you stir your paint mix well. The atomic orange seems like it has a lot of micro flakes in it. You will be fine if you spray it even and with the gun aimed 90 degrees to the panel. I would put on at least 3 coats of clear too.
