  • I've seen this video referred two in two forums (Woodwind Forum and Sax on the Web) as an example of what the alto clarinet can do. It would be nice to know the maker of this instrument and the setup (mouthpiece, reed, etc.) Kudos!

  • @Gandalfe Unless I'm mistaken, he's playing on a Selmer (somethingsomethingsomething). In fact I don't think he's ever actually given me an actual model number or anything of the such, he just calls it the "Selmer." UAA has a few alto clarinets: The two Dr. Wolbers prefers are the LeBlanc and Selmer instruments. As for Reeds, he's using Vandoren Traditional (Either 3 or 3.5) on a Vandoren B45 Mouthpiece.

  • @thisguy41487 I'm currently trying to confirm this information with him. I'm awaiting his response.

  • is that a buffet prestige alto clarinet?? how much did that thing cost you? ._.

  • @macintosh315 Nope, it's a Selmer. So it's a lot better.

  • Wow...thats pretty radical!

  • Hahah why is it that alto clarinets are the butt of all clarinet jokes?? :P

  • This might be the best alto clarinet player Ive EVER heard!! :D

  • @crazydhesi He might also be the hardest working alto clarinet player also. Hahaha!

  • @crazydhesi

I hear he eats sharks for breakfast too. All around rad guy.
