I am from the UK, and I am a dire straits nut, mark knopfler was my ideal and I pretty much wanted to be him lol he is one of the best fingerstyle guitarists I have heard live, we have jeff beck, clapton, knopfler, we breed good guitarists in the UK, clapton for me changed the way music went back then, he pretty much shaped the music scean, and everyone else followed, sure hendrix was great, but he never had the impact clapton had, hendrix had skills, clapton is the type to start a revolution
