Not sure where/how/when I got told so, but I will lay money that it stands for Little Miss Authority... sick song... I remember being maybe 15 or 16, pushed up against the fence at the front of South's footy oval in Adelaide for something called 'Southern Summer Sounds'... can't remember who else even played... these guys blew me away... ah, memories :-)

You're dead right. Aaron Hewson was the man on the drums for alot of the time...and yes Stanier joined in 1998.

I'm sure Stanier only did one or two albums...one in 2000 definitely.

Great band - very progressive and LOUD live. Apparently they followed a pretty militaristic touring and practice schedule.

Heard from music news a couple years ago that the Ill At Ease video-clip trilogy was short-listed for best short film at Cannes - any truth to this ?

Also, funny bit of trivia - in Australia the Retaliate clip was released the same week as the Madonna clip where she's running over people in a cab. The press whipped up a frenzy about the Madonna clip being "controversial" and "violent" but not a word about TMOC's clip!!!

when I read what LMA meant and what it was all about I was pretty moved by it all. never knew. One of the best songs off Ill at Ease. TMOC are a great band a really good guys. damn good videos too.
