No, i did not use the midi. I constructed the main melody parts using some piano sheet. When I made this, I wasn't even aware you can actually import midi-files into FL Studio and transfer the data into pianoroll. Could have had saved much efford though.
Ah that was my next guess lol. That's what i've done a bit, just copy the sheet music and then change and add things. Ya it should be under File - Import - Midi. Well actually im not too sure about FL studio 7 but that's where it is on 9
