Man that rhythm section is tight...And listen to James Carr's timing...it is rock solid...The music is simple but played perfectly...The drummer James Robinson and bass player Dwayne Thomas is from a band called Galaxy..an Arista Records Band in the seventies...I played keyboards for this band and we had great times all over the world.

I have goose-flesh when I see this video. This was one of the very last public appearances of James Carr, in the magic of the Porretta Soul festival. After so many years of silence, he was convinced to cross the ocean, restart singing, and make this great performance in Italy. I was there, and it's just unforgettable.
