I guess the New Kids had to rely on lip syncing when playing live because can you imagine how out of breath you'd be dancing like that on stage? I don't care what shape you're in, it would be tough to lip sync and dance. Madonna used to sing on stage and it didn't exactly sound good.

Their original producer even had doubts b/c Joe was so young,but stayed with him b/c his voice was amazing. Look at his songs now, as an adult; he can effen sing!
