Just, I don't understand your first comment. If you don't know Linda Eder (which is the leading performer of this song), what you mean with "a rendition of this performed by a" real "singer"?
I thought my answer clear, I didn't know Ms Eder so I listened to make an informed reply, my reply after listening was a polite way of saying I still feel Sumi Jo's was the first I had heard by a "real" singer.
My personal view and I add "my personal view" is that Ms Eder is perhaps 20% the singer Sumi Jo is. Don't take offense at this. Many people are less than complimentary about Sumi Jo, I just view them as blinkered philistines, you are welcome to view me the same.
