yes jimmy ellis , he was the best of the elvis soundalikes . he and his wife were murdered about 15 years ago . the ran a liquor store and 2 youths robbed and killed them . very very tragic , he was great

Shelby Singleton who was known for doing whatever it took to sell records decided since Elvis had died and Jimmy Ellis sounded so much like him that he should cash in on this by taking recordings from Jerry Lee's time at Sun and dubbing in Jimmy Ellis to create the duets. It has been proven by critics and historians that Singleton wanted people to think that he had found "lost"Elvis/Jerry Lee recordings
