@idolheaded Apparently during melanies performance commercials were being played.so in large parts of the west they werent able to hear her sing, kinda strange if you ask me she went through this time, but when the show starts coming to an end they should make sure somehow that ever1 can hear all the contestants.Its kinda hard to vote for some1 that you didnt hear!

I love Melanie, I think she has an amazing voice, it's a shame we don't have someone of her quality in the UK version, I love Desperado too, but why did they alter around all the lyrics so none of them made sense. As much as I loved her performance of the song it was spoilt a bit for me by all the liines being mixed up and I still prefer The Eagles singing it.

@thesparksplug Oh, whatever. While I'd have to admit that Misha is very good, the X Factor USA has much more talent overall that the UK version. The best one's on the UK show are Misha and Janet, and Sophie, who was booted out (fail).

I am 100% a Melanie fan. I listen to her on YouTube all the time. She is on her way to wonderful future. The only two things that suck on this show is the fact that they yanked Cheryl Cole, she is a bundle of fun, and the presenter. He has the personality of a rock and is very obnoxious.

Melanie and Stacey have the best voices in the competition. Stacey's range is among the widest on American Idol's ever. Melanie is more energetic and controlled. Stacey tends to go over the top and too low,- so far. If she gains more control...she might come out as the best.

surprisingly she seemed she was struggling at the second half of the song, not sure if she intended to sing it that way, it was just underwhelming for me. she could have just sung that off near the end. she was fantastic singing the acapella though.
