I respect and admire you and your knowledge. However, I beg to differ on the role of British in Indian education. When you talk of 94% illiteracy in India, you should compare it with what it was under Mughals or before Mughals came. British started Universities, Medical colleges, engineering colleges and what not. It were the educated middle class which brought Indian revolution and brought freedom.
