  • there are actually two different versions of this game.

  • Hahahahaha I laughed so hard at the part where you're talking about hiring the guy who runs in 1 direction poking people.

    so funny lol

  • golden axe has midgets

  • "Its a shame it only came out in the UK/Europe"....

Lets not go into the amount of games the US got and we didn't -.-

  • Game with midgets?

What about KUNG FU for the Nes....

  • Gaiden means spinoff or sidestory and yes its a japanese word (guyden not gayden) all NG games are legendary

  • ha i find it funny when people say it was shame it only came out in the UK or europe, heh, im just glad im welsh, thats like being english but your slightly nicer, unless your from north wales.......ANYWAY, im off to go get ninja gaiden MS now thanks

  • its not gay-den its pronounce guy-den

    ...HOME?

  • total recall has midgets..... still not fun though

  • Nice... This is good info....

  • It was released in Europe. Not just UK.

  • About the midgets, how about those psycho flea men from Castlvania! There like midget Quasimotos. man I hate those guys.

I think it would be funny to have in a game the evil bird trainer. Who trains all the bats and birds and other misc flying things to just piss the shit out of you.

  • lol about midgets. that game is not the only one to have them in a game. anybody remeber total recall for the nes?

  • Are you tired of hearing this yet? It's Ninja Gaiden (pronounced Guy-den) not Gay-den. And it's Ryu (pronounced Ri-you) not Raiyu. It sounds like nitpicking, but people (especially Japanese) respect it when one takes the effort to pronounce words correctly. Okay, now you can give your thumbs down on this comment.

  • who cares let ppl talk how they want

  • I'll say it however the fuck I want.

  • I'll say it however the fuck I want.

  • Everyone has their own preference of how things are pronounced. Take Mario for example. I say Mar-e-o while some say Mayor-e-o. Another is wrestling while people call it wrastling. I do have a tendency to speak a word like the JP do. Take Naruto for example. The JP say it as it is without syllables. US say it as Na-Ru-To with Ru being the expressed one. Depending on where people are from is how it will be spoken.

  • So What?

  • it bugs the crap out of me when people say it stupid.

  • When you're a blue ninja, be prepared to battle any eagles, crows, or hawks that spot you. Birds hate blue ninjas.

    It's pronounced Ri-Yu!

  • Actually, you pronounce it the way you pronounce Hugh but with an R at the beginning.

  • ...HOME?

  • Just run with a knife and poke ppl lol awsome u give good reviews dude do some updated games plz and if u do let me know k

  • If it's released in PAL regions, that means ALL PAL regions. Including New Zealand and Australia, as well as a few other counties, not just the UK.

That being said, I love this game and this was a pretty decent review.

  • If your not playing on an emulator the game is slowed down. It's strange, because I had to adjust to the speed when I received the actual copy.

  • Raiyoo!?! Heyaboosa?! Gayden?

Soo weird and wrong pronunciation XD

  • Rai-yoo? Ninja Gay-den?

  • What's with people calling it GAYDEN? Even "the wizard" had it right.

  • There were midgets in kung-fu

  • Beat me to it!

  • Hate them damn midgets! Then they would even do flips, furthering the stereotype that midgets are here for our amusement. Crooked game developers will burn in hell!

  • I hope you're joking.

  • yeah, being sarcastic as hell. haha

  • This game simply rules!!

  • Weren't the "running guys" supposed to be "Jason", at least that's what I remember them being called in the manual for NG2.

  • Your a rare case my friend..Your humor and swears do not seem forced..like I am just getting a low down on a game from some friends..Very nice

  • This game is horrible I can't believe the guy thinks it's decent

  • Kung Fu Master had midgets. Also, I've played this and it isn't even close to the NES games IMO.

  • was also released in New Zealand...

  • Wow I didn't know about this version. Looks awesome. I broke a controller because of those damn homing hawks.

  • In regards to the Master System, games from the UK can be played just fine in America. If you have a Japanese version of the console (not sure if all of 'em had the FM chip), you can get different sound in some games.

  • Nice video I need to hire some running stabby guys to get a few people LOL and those ****ing birds they are like the birds from the movie THE BIRDS LMFAO.

  • haha "i want a *beep*ing bird"...after seeing this its defenitly a must buy for me and i just put a bid on it...

  • nice video, I had no idea this game existed. It seems in the middle of it you went 'angry video game nerd' style. Keep it up though very informative.

  • nija gajden wasnt just released in england, i live in denmark and i have it.

  • great review...but ur pronouncing it wrong; it's not gay-den,lol- it should be guy-den, saying it the japanese way or the literal latin, hence gaiden. c'mon, we're not french... btw, i hate them flying birds on the nes version.

  • Tbh theres no right or wrong way to pronounce it. The same goes with yoshi.

  • It really is Ree-oo (despite what Street Fighter: The Movie says) and guy-den.

  • Actually, there is a right way and a wrong way. Take some Japanese in college and find out. It is pronounced, "guy den".
