  • Does it come out of the box with proportional throttle ,and steering.

  • I have one like that but bit bigger i use mine as a competion boat to tow 2 metre model tankers round cornders and through a harbour.awsome boat tho..5*

  • Muito bacana esse rebocador.

  • were did you get it

  • i think he got it at tower hobbies

  • the speed is set for a reason like for pushing and pulling bargs thats what i do with mine and it works great im getting a sound system of a diseal engine and a bilge pump its a great boat cuz it leaves tons of room for additions

  • very impressive tug looks like the real one great on the water shots. Bet it would look good at dusk with running lights on.

  • why is it one of the most dangerous pond in north america

  • Nyaaah, cute! And fun. X3

  • I got one too. It won't run in reverse; not even a little. I am hoping it's the ESC. I have ordered a Pro Boat replacement. We'll see ! I would really hate to repackage and mail back the whole thing w/radio to Hobbico for warranty servicing.

  • the owner of the tug recently put another speed control, and now it has the same power reverse as forward. so i assume it has something to do with the stock speed control.

  • Well, rats; my post didn't go ! I tried to talk about the prop "issue."

Thank you for this video, BTW. Besides the advertising commercial videos (2) that Aquacraft made for the Atlantic, your's is the only other time I've seen their tug actually perform--do it's thing. It looks like a great boat. It really is strange that it's such a slug when the motor is put in reverse. You sometimes need that "umph" just as sort of a *brake, when your rc boat is going towards the rocks !

  • Why did you try to change the prop to one that is bigger ? It does travel slowly in reverse; odd. Thanks for the video. I am going to buy one.

The Hobby Engine Southampton is a good RTT tug too. It gets "rave" reviews everywhere on the web. It is

  • i dont know why he tried to use a bigger prop. i know he wasnt too happy with reverse but overall happy with the boat the way it came out the box.
