i own a mac and i have a hackintosh and i can say my hackintosh is alot faster  it is an asus g73 i7 laptop with 6 gig ddr3. the mac is a new macbook pro 17 in with i7 to . if you crack them open the are running the same hardware just one is in a slim case and the other not but the pc based on runs faster .

@Collectorsworldbuyer I have a Core i7 iMac and a hackintosh notebook, what's your point? Building a hackintosh or putting OS X on your PC is just a way of tinkering or having the OS you prefer on the computer of your choice, not because you're too poor to afford a Mac.

@SatyTech85 and you too ^^mac is rather good for video edit and making music with bootcamp and windows you can play the latest games on your imac by running simply windows ! THe software is not for gaming it not sucks but is a little bit inconveniant in some situations . And for gaming you can everytime mod the game by just adding cider .

OMG!, try "Como reparar notebook - how to fix..." youtube post instead. It is in spanish but with english translation. It is the method I used to fix my dv2000. I used a 125halogen lamp from Sears and heated the gpu for 3mins.

Oui c'est efficace mais bon c'est dangéreux (pour l'ibook) si on laisse trot longtemps et puis la bidouille doit fonctionner 1 ans max après faut recommencer ...

vaut mieux utiliser une station de soudure à air chaud. mais c'est un peu plus cher. mais moins dangereux.
