I have a question, i have a Sims2 ps2 game on a disc with a huge scratch in it (damn Dx) but i want to run the game. The game freezes up in the middle of the gameplay, so it is boring. Well i want it to work, so i got all the files from the disc to my PC. And now i want to burn them to a new disc. I have done that as well, but it is not working on my PS2 cuz it is in wrong format. I am using a 4.7GB DVD+RW disc, but i probably need to crack the game i suppose?

@monsiakak First you need to make iso file then you need to patch the game on "ESR Patcher" then burn it on the disk.

hi i downloaded and burned Game Shark2 on a re recordable CD. When i tried it in the PS2 it said ...not PS2 format..(it was not proper). I just read it has to be burned on a DVD. Is that right. @sanjay9rao yes you have to ESR patch the ps2 .iso file before burning/writing it, i reccomend you use Alcohol 120% cracked message me if you dont have the program (i found a legit cracked version), better if you use Alcohol 120% because you can choose the burn type e.g Playstation 2 which it would definintly work on your ps2.

can you please tell me how to patch. I have made iso images of various ps2 games from their original dvd. I have even downloaded some games. 1 of them tomb raider has 31 parts. In rar format they are 47mb or so but after extracting they are 2,67gb or so each. So how they they be put on one dvd.

@sanjay9rao You need program called. ESR Patch. download that.. If you don't know how to use it look tutorials on youtube.. It's very easy to use the ESR Patch program. and patching takes under 1 second on my computer :)

@noobest200 @dontnou3 Have your brother install FMCB on your friends MC and then your friend can use it on any PS2 he wishes. The installation is tied to your MC not your console. You can not directly copy the info {like copying a save file} you must install it using the installer. Every MC uses a unique serial number/encryption key for this update system.

is there any way of playing burned ps2 games WITHOUT buying something like ActionReplay or Swap Magic etc? I tried swapping ps2 games in the tray for the burned dvds using a swap key i made but it doesn't seem to work for ps2 games (the screen just stays black).

Honestly I'd rather just go and buy the actual game since it's a lot easier and costs about the same as the hacking software, but they don't sell them in most electronic stores anymore so it looks like i'm never going to play it :\
