lol... chill out. First of all, I'm American. Second, you don't buy the highest i7, they all OC the same (for the most part). You buy the 920 which is $280. I never said their prices were good or fair, I was just saying that they are equal in power. Also, the i7 has more cache and can hyper thread, which is why it is better than Phenom II's for movie ripping and compiling. It also has HyperBoost, which overclocks the most active core up to 20% and decreases the other cores for faster processing.

Finally, SSD's don't compute to framerate, just loading speed. With $500 I'd rather buy 2 5870's after Fermi is released. The only reason you get Intel is if you are looking to maximum overclock 200-400 mhz faster than AMD and you can't live without having the best components. I know guys who do that. It's their hobby. I like my AMD and ATI because they're just a slight notch slower and 60% more affordable hands down, no need to get your knickers in a twist.

All that truly matters as far as the average gaming consumeris concerned is how fast it will crunch Crysis... Not really. You get more bang for your buck out of AMD. Intel charges way too much for something that is just as good as AMD. The only thing better than AMD cpus at this point is the i7, and no one can afford those, so most people just get a Phenom II.

I would highly recommend you get a 5770, 5850, 5870 or wait till fermi comes out...i think its called fermi..if i am wrong please forgive me i am a ATI user. But i do not think it is wise to get a last gen card this late in the game, you will most def have to upgrade in the near future. I hope that helps and let me know what you decide.

This isn't true at all...the the i5 750 outperforms everything AMD has as well, and the i3 530 dominates its price bracket. Only the high end Phenom II's beat it. AMD has the rest of the market though, since Intel doesn't offer anything besides that Pentium under $120.

Yeah on the inside there is Circle Clips you squeeze together and it will pop up.. Be very careful about it though, because there are cables ran through for the front lighting.

My stock cooling would have it at about 120 degrees fahrenheit, with the spin Q it keeps it at around 80-90 degrees fahrenheit, So it does make a huge difference.
