  • how many miles of trails do they hav there? they any good?

  • @mackyyoyoyo Yes the trails are really good. Actually, my son's dad scared himself and he's a maniac. James, my son, actually flipped his quad so we just didn't like the idea of him riding.

  • i live in boyertown,pa. and want to take my 8yr old up there to Rausch creek. whats the address ? can i fallow him on the kid track with my quad, incase he takes a soil sample ??

  • @79pennington I heard it was closed now. Later that day, my son flipped his quad and he was smart enough to jump away from the quad and he had a chest protector on. His dad didn't want to take him again and it was his dad's idea. I wasn't there or I would have had a heart attack. The trails were hard for dirt bikes too his dad said and he's a maniac.

  • r u kiddin, i was riding my $9000.00 yamaha grizzly and saftey is a hazzard up there... i absolutly love going there, especially track 5!!! the best but its not safe on those trails, theres nothing but boulders and steep inclines and when i say steep i mean like 65 degree angles... but have fun tho and i hope ur child has as much fun as i do!! :)

  • @FriedBullet99 I heard they were closed down. It's very dangerous and this same day when I went home, my son's Dad called and said he was done because James went up the ramp and he's waiting and waiting, next thing is he sees the quad and not James. He ran over and James jumped away from the quad and had a chest protector on. He never took him again and sold the quad. He flipped his dirt bike too on the trails. He said they're insane.

  • @mia0899cs yeah they are shut down, i go to rausch creek trail riders instead, its about 15-25 miles up the road and its alot better, and safer. OMG!! about ur story, something similar to that happened to me the very first time i went with my chain quad, lets just say thats long gone, now i have the grizzly and i hope i have this quad for the next decade :)

  • @FriedBullet99 You will have it for the next decade! I'm praying for you and you'll be fine!! God Bless!!

  • @mia0899cs thanks so much, i hope you and your family stay safe and sound :)

  • @FriedBullet99 Thank you!!!

  • mommy's hot lol

  • @fmxhero01 lol!

  • I go for the jeepin and muddin

  • That would be fun and I would rather do that myself.

  • Ive been wanting a place to ride but i heard that rausch closed down for the MX\ATV.If you know any places to ride please messgae me.

  • Oh, I didn't know that. I could ask his dad because he knew of another place. If you call Rausch Creek, they can tell you where else you can ride. Also, just do a google search in your area and every place should come up. I hope that helps.

  • ever go to tn , dallas ricker exit 44 off i-81 its great

  • No, I'll tell my son's dad. His dad still rides his dirt bike through trails. My son doesn't ride anymore. Personally, I'm glad. His dad had a bad accident on his dirt bike 2 wks ago. He was going 40 mph and he slid on this one spot which he has been riding on. He went over the handle bars and hit a boulder. He had to pop his shoulder back in, messed up his thigh, his other upper arm which was so swollen, and his hand. His hand is still messed up and I'm sure he broke the bones.

  • fullpit93 just listed a place which he states is great.

  • smart kid

  • Thank God! He doesn't ride anymore. I think that was enough to scare his dad and him. I'm glad! He is starting Football. It is so expensive to ride too! However, if one enjoys it all the more power to them!

  • ok ,thats nice he didnt get injured it would of been really bad if he did exspecially at his young age

  • Thanks! His father was there and I went home. His dad was even scared until he saw him get up. It could have killed him if it had landed on his chest. He was shaking a long while afterwards. He did have a chest protector on too thank God, but rolling away from the quad was the smartest thing.

  • im getting a 250cc yamaha raptor so nvm but thank u anyway

  • You're quite welcome! Please be careful and wear protective gear. My son actually flipped his ATV here. Thank God he has a chest protector on and he was smart enough to jump away from the ATV so it didn't land on him.

  • do anybody know where could i find name brand atvs for 700$ and down in pa?nothing under 125cc.(THANK U)

  • You can call, "Larry's" in Richlandtown, PA. I don't have the number, but just dial info.

  • ahahahaha, i dont think you coudl find anything decent for under $1000 bud

  • IS that a suzuki, good for you guys for going for a name brand quad, i cant tell u how many people i know who think they got a rwally great deal on a 500, 600, $700 quad just to realize whe nthey get it that there was a reason it was that price. Suzuki is one of the best companies for long term, my 1987 Suzuki LT250 has everything a modern 4x4 has and runs perfect and is 110% stock from 1987, even the tires are in amazing shape.

  • It was from someone his dad knew. It was perfect for him, so he wouldn't kill himself. However, I didn't stay the whole time they were riding. James actually flipped, but was smart enough to jump out of the way of the quad. His dad called me and he said he was still shaking. So, I think that turned his dad off as well as my son. Definitely, me.

  • is he still interested in riding?

  • Yes he still is.

  • Sweet vid! Keep him involved, it looks like hare scrambles or GNCC racing might be his calling. My son and I race (he is dirtbike and I am quad) and it is a wonderful bonding experience. You should be proud...peace

  • Thank you! I think that you have a great bonding experience! I think it is great when parents encourage their children and participate too. I had some woman telling me that this is dangerous and what kind of mother am I. She said she used that as an example because she feels it is alright if a mother wants to breastfeed her child at 8 y.o. Well, it's like comparing apples to oranges.

  • please encourage your son s interests as it will only get better.........f football, f soccer, if he wants to ride please support. if my parents would have supported me in this age......i might not have turned to drugs....your child needs your help!!!!!this is not a joke!!!

  • I'm sorry to hear about that. My parents and Jim's mother (his father died when he was 6 y.o.) didn't support us either so that is why we do everything for him. I will take your advice. My parents could have afforded to get me involved in anything. I wanted acting lessons. I was a majorette, but I wanted to play the flute and my mother didn't pay for one for me. Jim's mother was set after his father's death and her money went to loser boyfriends.

  • Awesome place..!!

I've always been a snowmobiler. First ride when I was about your son's age!!

    Very cool..

  • Yes, it is really an awesome place! I went on a snowmobile in my teens and it was so much fun. However, we don't get the snow here anymore. I asked if they let snowmobiles up there and they said they were thinking about it but the insurance would be too expensive. My son loves it. He did crash that day and he was smart enough to get away from the 4 wheeler and he only got a brushburn on his back. The chest protector probably saved his life because it was around his kidneys. He got back on

  • LOL !

Quite the little Evel Kinevel isnt he ? !

  • lol! Yes, he is. He really thinks, however. Which I like. He rolled his 4 wheeler later that day and jumped away from it and only got a brushburn. The chest protector saved him really. It was around his kidneys. So, he got back on and he is cautious. I left and his dad was with him. His father was so nervous because he saw the 4 wheeler roll and roll. I would have freaked. However, as I was leaving there was a bad accident on 81S so I know vehicles are dangerous too.

  • Fun. Dangerous, be careful.

    But still fun!

    Morgan.

  • Thanks Morgan! It's not for me. I'd prefer if he hated it. However, he wants to play football and I guess everything can be dangerous. Thanks for posting.

  • james looks so cute on his 4 wheeler

  • Thanks Shannon. I had to check it out and then I came back and then stayed. Later he flipped his 4 wheeler. I wasn't there or I would have freaked out. He was smart enough to jump off and it rolled down the hill. His chest protector really helped. He has a brushburn on his hip. He's fine and wanted to keep on riding. It did protect his kidneys.

  • your welcome, im so glad he wasn't seriously hurt cindy. thank God

  • Thanks Shannon. I thanked God so much! I was apprehensive to even post this until he was safely returned home. I have some weird superstitions like that.
