I don't really use a pick that much. The best guitarists I know (my cousin and the guitarist in my band) don't use picks and they're awesome plus Jeff Beck doesn't use a pick and he's awesome too so I guess I'm just trying to be like them :)
First of all you DO NOT SUCK,Your no Steve Morse but your pretty good.I've tried playing the guitar once and well let's just say it went badly. Also about the whole playing the guitar gay you looked fine. How exactly are you supposed to play? But next time before you play u might want to make ur bed. I mean where looking at it the whole time your playing bit distracting.

Start using a pick (if ur not)....it ll help....the earler the better....all d best
