Hi, i have a cobalt SS 2007 and i'd like to know exactly what you have done on yours because i'd like to do the same on my car because i like that sound. And have you made any upgrade on your car cuz mine is stock so if i do what you have done will i lose power? thx!!
I have a 2007 SS Supercharged, what upgrades have you made besides your exhaust set up? I'm looking at a Stage 2 kit. Stage 3 bypasses the A/C. Not desirable considering I live where it's very hot. I know the cam can handle up to 500 bhp and the block can handle up to 1,500 bhp if memory serves me right. Mine is fast, but I want to go faster still. (My exhaust is already done)
@hualni First off I would stay away from the GM kits. Look into ottperformance kits they make a lot more power. Browse around on cobaltss.net as well and that may answer most of your questions. A simple 2.8 pulley + bolton setup like mine is very reliable and at a comfortable power level.
If you buy engine upgrades from walmart then dont talk lol, im in tampa fl and all i see is walmart grade cars, i drive a 290hp cabalt ls and i dont even brag and i put good money into it and thats just b/c i no im gonna have this car for a while sense its a 08 so why not make it mine, but not one part is cheap.
When Chevy replaced the very old, straight-to-rental Cavalier with the Cobalt for 2005, it was touted as a Honda Civic-killer. It barely matched the retrograde 2001-2005 Civic, and was on the trailer a year later when the class-leading '06 Civic made its debut.
Cobalts suck dick Motor Trend: The F35 five-speed isn't as fluid or precise as others in the segment, namely the Civic Si's. The electric power steering is linear but lacks the tactility of, say, a Mazdaspeed 3's. The interior, with its hard plastic accoutrements, still screams econocar, despite new seats with UltraLux suedelike inserts. And there's some torque steer, even with GM's best trickery with electronics and suspension geometry.
@mustangmikeca i love how you post a bunch of bullshit on peoples videos when you dont have a single video of your "mustang"....get a life fuckwit this is like the 10th post of yours ive seen on cobalt videos. you must be really bored. you probably ride a bicycle.
@mustangmikeca mustang mike has no car and a small penis!!!! go post on mustang videos of youre so turned on by them you stupid ass. you dont even have a car!
@mustangmikeca I drive a Vr6 jetta GLX and DD a chevrolet cobalt ss/sc. The civic may have better plastics. I will definitely give you that. HAA!!!!! Its just so cool how you go around shit talking on cobalt vids. civics dont look sporty at all and my weedeater has more torque. They require way too much modification to produce good numbers. Interior for the 02 is drab at best. Keep your nice plastic, "mustang"mike

Hey man, where did you get the stripes? They look very good.

@jeffs93z28 I did them myself with vinyl. Took them off a while back because they were starting to get sun damage.

I have no idea what you are talking about. It is 3" all the way to a 3" tip. I have since changed my entire exhaust setup though.

drummerdude667 2 years ago
they are vinyl stripes, Me and a buddy did them. 60 bucks in materials from a buddys shop. Cut them myself, it's pretty easy and cheap to do.

U should of kept the wing
mario31201 3 years ago
