Can you imagine a show based on the Obama adminstration ala West Wing. Would be fascinating...except for the fact that no one, except really for Obama himself, could ever measure to the greatness that is Joshua Lyman (even Rahm is ehh), Toby Ziegler, CJ Craig, Charlie and Sam Seaborne. Ever. I mean it with all my heart haha.

Well...Josh was based off of Rahm. And both become Chief of Staff!! Strange, isn't it...Though I suppose you're right about the rest of the cast! (Obama's speeches seem to be right in line with the West Wing though!)

Actually, one guy said he was based off Rahm, and another guy says he wasn't based off of him at all, so he probably was initially based off of Rahm but then got hijacked by his characters...errr...*very* different potential. Josh is not anywhere near mean enough to be like Rahm, but he was tougher and more biting in the very first few episodes, so go figure.

only thing is, I don't recall the secretary of state being shown on the west wing intro? I don't think they showed very many cabinet members. They did have the National Security Adviser, and SecDef. I don't recall SecState being on there though...

Since the sec. of state doesn't work at the White House, he wasn't really shown much at all. I think there was one episode where Barlett had to choose SoS replacement though. Also, on the show, the VP wasn't even shown in the opening credits (Hoynes or Russell).
