The Black Mages is better simply due to the fact that the arrangements are all the vision of their creator.

Powerglove does an awesome rendition, though. One shouldn't bash artists for interpreting something differently (if they do it well, of course).

The game sucks, the story is stupid, the music is a terrible mish mash, the characters are annoying, it's one saving grace is the gameplay. But even then, I refuse to sit through an achingly bad story just to play with mechanics. These guys cover good music, not shite. It shames me that Final Fantasy has to be associated with the darkness that is Kingdom Hearts.

I was a Final Fantasy fan first and I love Final Fantasy more than Kingdom Hearts but there is nothing wrong with that game at all. Even the music. You can just walk around all day, and not really run out of places. That is; unless you run into an elemental, poisoned, and out of antidotes, or run into baddies 3 times your level.
