Somehow Randy managed to whine himself out of the best franchise in the league for the last decade. Even the PATRIOTS weren't good enough for him to be a good boy. He simply couldn't accept that his next contract should reflect he was three years older in a young man's league. I don't think he stopped trying, his team just wasn't set up for him to be productive, he still went to practice and ran his routes his stats just weren't the same and since his stats were not "Moss" stats everyone said he wasn't trying. I think he was also frustrated which affected his production. If he stopped trying he would've been cut from the team.
