  • am i the only one who hears that knock!

  • @Stingray2112 no, i hear it every time i use it to fuel equipment. You stop noticing it when you concentrate on counteracting the severe pull to the left due to the bent tie rod.

  • Sounds like you've got a couple bent push rods. Those FE motors are bad about that.

  • thats not a 1972 truck and that is an f250 high boy

  • sounds like you got a lifter ticking

  • im looking for a 67-72 short box for my truck the one i have is really beat up im doing a compleat resto on it its a 72 f-250 crew cab 4x4 short box let me know if u know of parts

  • Thats an fe motor for sure. Look at the intake to heads. The valve covers bolt to the head and intake. Thats an fe specific thing-

  • i'm sure they bought it 72.. since it's 73 or newer. dumbass

  • Your timing is a little bit off man. That POPing sound means the timing is a little too advanced. Turning the Distributor a little bit will probably fix the problem.

  • Ford best trucks money can buy they last a long time. Id rather push a ford than drive a chevy.

  • Thats a dent side. Maybe the frame is a 72. I don't know why you would put a dent side on a bump frame. I like the bumps better, but still a very nice truck!

  • i heard the guy say it is a 72?...thats a 73 or newer...and it is not a 302,,,the motor in that truck is a F.E motor...most likely a 360 or 390..if it is a 352,,then somewere in the trucks life some one put a 352 in it

  • @390merc65 This truck confuses a lot of people. We bought it brand new and it is a 72, but my uncle rolled it and we fixed it with body parts from the junkyard so i think the cab, doors and box aren't stock if i remember right.

  • @MiloMovieMakers well thats fine..i had a 72..and i actually bought 73/79 parts to change mine over ..were i live these parts are much easier to come buy ,,,and cheaper to buy...cool truck you have though

  • @MiloMovieMakers, well all the body parts are 73 and newer, nothing 72 or older interchanges with 73 and up in the bodies, except the tail gate...and it still does not line up quite right. But you can swap the bodies onto different frames, alot of people put 67-72 bodies on 73-79 frames for power steering etc....that is a 76-77 grill

  • I love the majority of all of your videos

  • awesome truck. i got a 71 f100 sport custom, almost perfect condition besides the body wrk (just a little rust) and only 60k miles, original. i love these old cars. run loads better than the new stuff. btw, if its cold out and u cant get it to start, floor the gas. it injects a lotta fuel and opens the air intake. should help get her started. love the truck. its awesome.

  • awesome truck have you ever thought about selling it anyways great vid.

  • @oldcarfreak14 thanks, no i dont think they have ever looked into selling it

  • @MiloMovieMakers If its the original engine than its not a 352 because ford never them. so it is most likely a 351/400M.

  • Wont idle sounds like, atleast not willingly.

  • What engine is in that beast?

  • @SuperJohndeere4020 not sure if its a 302 or 352

  • @MiloMovieMakers the 302 and the 352 are a completely different series engines, im goin to guess it has the 352 out of those two

  • @MiloMovieMakers Looks like a small block. If you had an FE, there would be like no space under the hood, LOL I have a 74 F-100. Good trucks :D

  • @gengis125 I have a 390 and i have plenty of space

  • @ndubb1 What is it in? I know the fenders change with the body style, so I imagine some trucks have more room under the hood than others. I know the trucks in the 60's had more room than the later ones. I know there is not much room under the hood of my 72 either. I have tons of room under the hood of my 74. Some genius did an engine swap before I bought it to a SB, and botched a lot of things unfortunately.

  • @gengis125 It's in a 75 f100. It's got an after market intake, a 1" carb spacer, edelbrock carb, and like a 2" tall filter and i have a ton of room above it. If i wanted to i could use one of those 5x14" filters ha

  • @ndubb1 Yup, they don't build trucks like they used to. Seems like you only find Ford trucks stick out here in Cali. The Chevy guys are quick to make their trucks automatic. Blah! What a waste.

  • @MiloMovieMakers it's an fe, prolly a 360 but could be a 352

  • @ndubb1 It is very probably a 360. I have a 1972 and mine has an original FE 360 engine on it. it's kinda hard to tell by the picture though. but you can tell by using the VIN number. Or the size is stamped somewhere i the engine.

  • awesome hiker boot on the gas....i could sit and watch it all day......lol.

  • @gunnlover Thanks! if you like that check out our international start up video, has much more pedal action

  • @MiloMovieMakers get eric to do more revving vids....in those hikers....lol

  • @gunnlover I agree!

  • love it. great pumping and cranking!

  • GOOD "FOOTAGE", Eric! Pump that gas pedal, BOOM BABY BOOM!!!

  • Cool old truck.....It started pretty easy..how long had it been sitting?

  • @floodedcaddy not that long, its there backup work truck so they use it every few weeks

  • @MiloMovieMakers I thought it started up pretty fast.... Maybe a longer pumpin, crankin video is in order..?? :))))
