you can purchase premade black fondant, But making black is quite difficult, its best to start with chocolate fondant first, and then you dont have to add as much black colouring and get that yucky taste

i usually just buy black, makes life so much easier i think, i end up with black fingernails for days after making it myself lol

I agree. I have had the same problems. Black and deep red are so hard to get. Not only is it time consuming but makes you tired. Just buy the black. Makes life easier.
