Awesome. Been searching for this for years & years. Now my friends & family will finally have to accept it wasn't just an acid flashback - heh. There was another one that was set in a kitchen. Hope it surfaces eventually too.
@RCravemore Yes it is wierd. At the time the womens lib people were way up in the air about it. A woman with an egg beater in her groin being nice enough to give out pudding was just too much.
1973? I'm old enough to remember that that was about the time grown-ups began scaring the crap out of we kids about accepting candy, drugs, rides, soft caresses and political indoctrination from strangers. Yet there is Melissa Gilbert, (that IS her on the tire swing, isn't it?) and her friends gladly accepting some ostensibly tasty treat from "somebody's mom"— someone who may or may not even be human; being a cartoon and all. Mixed messages? Or do I just read into things too much?
Ah miss them cans!

I always thought that cartoon Mom was embarassing. How many Mom's today would cringe at this commercial?

Wasn't there a version showing kids shaking their lunchboxes and the music of the commercial played?
