The Hyde Amendment being effect already prevents ANY taxpayer money going toward abortions, and he KNOWS this. It's all doublespeak. Why can't any of these people stand up and be honest for a change. All they are doing is pandering to their ignorant base instead of educating them. Our founders must be spinning in their graves as these morons take the stage and do everything they can to destroy the union our founders fought so hard to create. It's shameful!!!

Meehan prosecuted nothing but Democrats - that's how he stayed off Rove's target list. What he DIDN'T do was prosecute Mafia stock swindlers operating right under his nose - because their lawyer was his Delco Repub. buddy. Notice how the DC attorneys had to prosecute Curt Weldon? Meehan refused to.

Pat Meehan was a machine pol whose only previous job experience was as working for Arlen Specter when John McNichol slid him into the DA's job in Delaware County. Then the Delco GOP installed him as U.S. Attorney under Bush (you'll notice Pat wasn't one of the U.S. attorneys Karl Rove had fired for refusing to prosecute the political cases he wanted). Typical spoiled "golden boy" believes his own press coverage now!
