omg when i heard the first version of this song (i mean the crooner one not by beck) i hate it and found it stupid. but this "cover" by beck is more than a cover... the original song was just a spice he used to create this unique tasting masterpiece.
"Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime" is a hit single written by James Warren and first performed by the pop band The Korgis, of which Warren was lead singer. The Dream Academy, produced by David Gilmour, did a great cover in the late 80s.
Once again, Beck brings a great song to his listeners. An artist in respect. He certainly has mine.
hello I'm french and I love this song like many others. I love the Korgis:everybody's go to learn sometime I sing this song on my YouTube account cons but I 'd like to know if it suits you, I have the opinion of an Englishman or an American. thank you.
hello I'm french and as many french I adore this song, everybody's go to learn sometime. I filmed myself singing this song and I like to have the advice of an English pronunciation to see if the song is ok, thank you for giving me your opinion.
@rbirrell why would you compare this to bob dylan? have you HEARD bob dylan? two different worlds you fool...people BEFORE bob dylan played the harmonica, and people AFTER bob dylan still play harmonica...you may as well go listen to justin beiber if thats the way you think about music.
@will, he's a scientologist because his mother and father were , he said in an interview he didn't really buy into the stuff, feel better about yourself, hahaha
Thanx for putting this up. I remember just after this was filmed the whole show was available to view on MTV's website and then abruptly made unavailable for Europeans to view. I have been searching for it on You Tube ever since. Fantastic performance.

Fine, he's a scientologist, he also happens to be an amazing musical artist, i'm an agnostic, I barely come close to his musical talent.
Conclusion:
religion has nothing to do with musical talent therefore I find it easy to not care about his beliefs when i listen to his music,
at least he isn't a Christian rock band...
