Mydaddivorced his wife after his time in Vietnam during the war. His daughter (my sister) was only 3 then, he hasn't seen her since, he's tried... but she'scruel inside, and believed alotta years of lies. Thankfully my brother who was only 1 at the time, now comes around, and its wonderful atleast to have my brother (Dads first son) in our life.. Its a prayer answered after many years.

My BF of 6-7 mons. stuck by my side thru it all, took care of me while I was crazy with sorrow & helped me back to sanity again, & then we married for 30+ yrs. It DOES take time & it IS hard but take each day as it comes, take your time & be gentle to yourself...LOVE comes again with time. Trust me.

Thanks, dear...one thing I have found is that time does heal all wounds. You always carry the scars with you but that's part of what makes you the individual you are and those scars are nothing to be ashamed about. They show that you have really lived and not been isolated in a cocoon of fear or been sleep walking thru Life.
