@ElPinto1982 This is the 3rd at Wentworth, which calls for a fade. Seve's natural shape was a draw, until the mid-90s when he tried to develop a fade to prevent the snap-hook which was starting to plague his career.
@RetroJohnny1 He was only wild at the beginning and end of his career. The middle part (when he won most of his 91 tournaments) he was actually a pretty straight driver. People forget that now.
@darrenryan92 it's a shame then, that I remember his wayward driving. But I wasn't into golf until the early 90s, so I probably missed him at his best. Sad.
@RetroJohnny1 Oh yes, Seve's best was in the 80's. 80+ official PGA tournaments in his career. You don't do that by being a wayward driver. Seve was straight and long when at his best.
show the whole round!!!

@bowngolf out of interest, what sort of shot-shape and trajectory did Seve typically favour? This driver swing look like a high-cut sort of swing

I don't know why Seve was so wild off the tee. His got a really sound swing. Too much wrist break early on but solid.

Lovely sound at impact. When was this filmed? I'd say 1987, judging by his appearance & swing speed.
