  • Fucking America World terrorist always create new gadgets to kill people... sad.

  • Mama said they was my magic shooes

  • way more usefull than osmo. and this was mine.

  • power armor

  • Look pretty weak compared to my CryNet Nanosuit 2.0 ... i'm not impressed.

  • Run Forest, RUN!

  • Looks pretty impressive...

However, optimizing the infantry's carried loads would be a lot cheaper in the long run instead of investing millions into a fancy pack mule.

Personally, I would wait until it gets cheaper and/or better so we can start mounting vehicle-class armor or weaponry.

Imagine being able to carry AND use a 20mm rifle like it was an M4.

  • Yeah they just wanna prevent injuries and reduce strain on the soldier. That dudes laughable.

  • so we're fucked in the butt if the enemy gets it right?

  • ...But can it pole dance?

  • Why aren't these produced as prostheses for amputees and the disabled?

  • @LateralThinkerer Oh, they will be...when the military gets better equipment...

  • @LateralThinkerer These are still prototypes. They are currently testing this particular one with some people in wheelchairs, but there are other bionic limbs being used for limb replacement.

  • @LateralThinkerer Because there is more money in war than in medicine. Unfortunate as it is, that is the nature of Humanity. Wars between people have long spurred growth of technology, look at ww2, going into it we flew biplanes, but by the end, we were building jets. Maybe one day a bionic prosthesis will be made, but right now insurance won't cover the $2 million the military pays for one of these.

  • ... paid for by the F-22 division of Lockheed Martin

  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

    LOL

  • oph lockheed, as evil as you are.. you never cease to impress me.

  • run forest! run!

  • We're taking the load off the soldiers back...lol no you aren't. That just means they'll be carrying more than ever before.

  • 02:17 Because the biggest concern for a soldier is a pesky back injury......

  • @mnbaldie

Well its pretty hard to serve 4 years in the military if you blow your back out and get discharged your first deployment...its not about making super-soldiers, its about keeping the ones they have....

  • All they gotta do now is add in some artillery plating to the leg shafts and maybe a system of armor for the upper arms, put all that in, and viola, we now have a fully capable reinforced battle suit able to block soldiers from oncoming shrapnel or stray fire in the middle of a battle.

  • Hey Specialist, go pick up that big ass unexploded IED.

  • Iron Man Suite Beta

  • By the time you put on the exoskeleton, you'll be well dead.

  • Looks like a shitty versions of cyberdynes hal suit XD its alot more advenced then that crap, why? because it has a different mode of operation, it actually has sensors that detect the eletric stimulus going trough your body to activate your muscles and simply mimics the same command for the exoskeleton, resulting in it mimicing the users movement instead of calculating how he's moving. And that ones for CIVIL use like helping the disabled.

  • @Fylasfrommabi Yeah, probably gives you cancer too.

  • @kenndogg51 THAT is your response?geez grow up already.

  • And you can carry more wait with less effort. Here's a thought. Don't carry so much shit.

  • when will the consumer version be available? beats the hell out of a Segway :)

  • i'll take 7.

  • Imagine if every rich bully had these

  • more death and destruction. why can't we use this technology for the good of man rather than the death of. WOW

  • @cstaterams2 - search youtube for: mitchell and webb dr death - it's a British comedy about such technological innovations and their military applications.

  • id hate to c that malfunction lol

  • GIMME. NAO. WITH BROWNING .50 CAL.

  • This identical to HAL (hybrid assistive limb) that was invented in Japan a couple years ago. The goal was to help elderly/disabled people to walk again and provide relief to factory workers. Funny how this video makes no mention of HAL

  • @dragoncherry7 Whenever America makes something, they like to make it "FIRST INVENTED IN USA". Nothing new. Rich, stronger nations been doing that for millions of years since long ago. I had the same thought when I saw that. Also its funny how Jap. developed it for elderly/disabled ppl and here they are using it for military. It's always war.

  • I'm 6'3" damnit

  • orrrrr Hire a Sherpa.

  • FAILCON PAWNCH!!!11!!!!!1!!!

  • Now even the fattest americans can crawl!

  • ONE DAY WE LOOK AT ALL THIS AND THINK WHAT ON EARTH WERE WE DOING BUILDING THESE TOOLS OF DESTRUCTION. ALTHOUGH WE HAVE MADE GREAT STRIDES OUTWARDLY WE ARE STILL ANIMALS INWARDLY, AGGRESSIVE, VIOLENT, BRUTAL, COMPETITIVE. TIME TO EVOLVE PEACE AND LOVE

  • @sol2soul77 What your saying is impractical and against nature, sometimes you have to use force to stop much more vile and unjust violence. Thus doing so you do so through the usage of technology to do so more effectively and efficiently. Think about it logically; sometimes how else are you supposed to maintain peace? Like i said already through use of force. Evolution goes its way.

  • @sol2soul77 What do you define as "animals", arguably humans in their own way are technically animals; both share several similarities. But what you have to accept the violence plays an inevitable and sometimes nessary (depending forms whose side initiated from) role in everyday life.

  • @ThePerfectOryan

i think you've been playing too many violent videogames and watching too many violent movies. that isn't necessarily the way human existence has to be. in fact, humans (unlike animals) can get together and live pretty much any existence they collectively choose. they are very adaptable and just need proper guidance.

  • @MustNotRead But i wanna shoot headz of! Fuck of peace! We go for war!!!

  • @MustNotRead What you think, and how it is, thats rather different as a matter of fact when it comes to talking about me, i for past have not not been doing much of either. In a general form if you look throughout history it is in human nature to compete or conflict with one or another, for a huge range of reasons, whether you see it good or bad, but thats the fact. Sometimes you cannot reason with unreasonable, and must do it the hard way

  • @MustNotRead How can you say in what way human exisitance is? If you look for as long as it traces back with humans you will see that humans never got along at some point or another. And what do you define as guidance, who is to "guide"? This is all a very relative thing.... Some choose bad for whatever reasons, if so how do you deal with them? It is extremly complicated and a vast number of factors come into play. Life is like one complex cycle

  • @MustNotRead You must understand and see sometimes to maintain peace and secuirty it is achived through the initiaion of force; the only practical and only solution depending on the scenario

  • @sol2soul77 never gonna happen.

  • @sol2soul77 If there is to be peace, Prepare for War

  • @stevodakido In case if things get hairy

  • @stevodakido There's only ever been one war. The class war.

  • @stevodakido Depends on what kind of peace they want.

  • @stevodakido What rubbish.

  • @stevodakido call of duty quotes

  • @stevodakido Your american arnt you...

  • @stevodakido war will never end untill peace is more profitable than war. Greed will be the end of us.

  • This is just a shitty response to the japanese exoskeleton research

  • @utnag deal with it

  • that could help the elderly...

  • @MrScarykerry well according to the military war is more important than the elderly

  • there's a working prototype?! A WORKING FUCKING PROTOTYPE?! Time to join the army!

  • @lokken23 you'd never see it, half these "advancements" are rarely if ever seen

  • It's thinking like this that moves the human race forward. one thing i'd advise is don't think about making a profit if your planning to create.. even if theres a good chance you will.

  • The power of 1 9 volt batter EMP could take out your on board chip if the brain isn't shielded. Another thing, look at the big gap between the foot and the device. Easy trip up there.

  • One question, "What if the wearer falls head first into water with all that weight? Even with a quick release, your going to have to drop 200+ lbs of equipment. I applaud the invention, but it's like they say, "If the original way ain't broke, no need to try and re-invent the ideological wheel." Still, it is cool and I would love to use it to plow my garden.

  • i cant wait until the military literaly has nanosuits :)

  • looks gay

  • exoskeleton??? why? for what?? the human body is perfect , if you are a lazy , well you need a exoskeleton...

  • 120 pounds in the mountain? A gurkha can lug 200+ pounds in the same conditions.

  • @shaider1982 Key word, THIN AIR. Thin Air is not something you can train for, you are ether born in that atmosphere and are adapted to it or you are not.

  • @Baseshocks You can actually train for thin air at sea levels. Nike once had a house with filters to keep the levels of oxygen outside to simulate high altitudes. However, actual training for running is outside. This makes the lungs to take in more oxygen while being able to max out your exercise levels.

Soldiers could also train for high altitude levels. In anycase, there's always that oxygen tank.

Still, Gurkhas really are born to fight.

  • @Baseshocks You can adapt to a very different atmosphere then the one you are born in.

  • @BA1Gang I do not know much about it i am just going off a document i saw of Everest, the Sherpas are physically built to survive in high altitudes with smaller body's less air is needed. many people nearly die or do die because they can not adapt to the lower base camps atmosphere.

  • Wow! The soldier can now lug all of his gear along with rifle-round defeating body armor but still maneuver like the devil!

  • Sorry guys. Raytheon Sarcos does it better.

  • @TheFrostedLlama I'd agree with you, if Sacros can be unplugged from the wall. Of course, things might have changed since 2011.

  • human body is getting weaker and weaker I think. people already hardly excercise..

  • fuckin great so this is what the NWO stooges will have obviously...

  • Is this a death metal video or what?

  • I want one for school

  • makes for better killing machines

and the UAVs increase enemy casualties without risk to themselves.

makes justifying war on other countries easier, when the soldier's job is not as strenuous or risky

  • Can I please have one?

  • They should make the skeleton plug in the shose not some plastic or metal under the shose they should make something like an snowboarding hard boot .

  • Run Forrest !

  • War is shit.

  • can we please take over all these useless countries that cant get their shit together? all of africa? the land would be much more useful in america's hands... or japans.. seriously

  • lol only 120lbs? only 6,000ft? and you cant be taller than 6'2? sounds like I out performed this. gimmie sumthin like on avatar or mech warrior. an armored weapons platform smaller than an abrams would be more awesomeer :P

  • this is fake. why? they show us old technology, but in reality they've got much, very much better technologies than that. you wonder why they would do that? think straight, it's not difficult to find out... so yeah, it's some sort of propaganda.

  • @hellschatt

I believe so, i understand what you are saying, IMO

This exo skeleton suit is NOTHING NEW to them but very new to us,

Its obvious that individuals who are controlling this system/world would always lie about their technological warfare.

  • beautiful device! we might use it for saveing people! but nope! now even lazy burgerfeedin meatball americans can be soldiers. what a nice new world!

  • my luck it'd have a glitch and do the splits .ouch , seriously it s beautiful

  • PROPAGANDA nothing more than propaganda.

  • *temporary cyborg.

  • armor that baby up and send it in with the tanks, and kill those sons of bitches!

  • Yea were done... :(

  • nice lips ~

  • Does it wipe my butt?

  • @Hurrdurrderpable Just wait until the Japanese get their hands on this technology, it will even water spray your butt.

  • @CognitiveNetwork cant wait

  • Cuz helping humanity doesn't make money.

  • @EvilDarkLordMonkey yes it does...

  • @EvilDarkLordMonkey yeah, that's so fucked up and yet so true

  • we all doom to much power they will beat a freedom fighter

  • CAN YOU SAY TERMINATOR?

  • Looks goofy Honestly I think from a soldiers standpoint they may think I look like a doofer

and I don't need to wear a Robot to be ARMY STRONG Real flesh and blood are made into fighting machines with training and can hump a pack of gear anywhere they absolutely have to. You get tired its called being human were not robots and I don't think anyone wants to wear one.Its machinery machines malfunction and people die. If you want a robot to fight make a robot to fight and keep soldiers out of it.

  • @Eaglezero6205 yeah i guess you woulden't need cellphones, acog, night vision or radios then right? i mean, those are just machines and machines malfunction....

  • @Eaglezero6205 isn't a gun a machine too?

  • @Blarmenify No, a machine is an automated electro-mechanical unit. A gun, is controlled by a human being. It's just a tool.

  • hopefully the battery lasts long enough, also how would they charge it on the move? they'd have to ditch it if they where on a extended mission.

  • oh for your information Stark Industries was a spoof of Lockheed Martin so the future of exoskeleton is iron man and they are trying to make one

  • no wonder this vid got less views because the video clip looks fake

  • Huh? 6'2" only? what about the rest of us. So you leave out all the big men, the strong-backs? Great thinking Short -Asses.

  • @LocoKon

Thats the job of the Hybrid Assistive Limb, search it up.

Hate on technology from the military all you want, but the greatest advances in medicine came from war.

  • your user would feel weak without the suit so the risk of this being addictive by the user is very great, not to mention how weak the user will get after soo much time in the suit

  • @hitmanzkilz "Feeling" weak and being weak are two different things. Doesn't matter if they "feel" weak after taking it off, obviously that would be natural. Becoming addicted? They will still be operating as they normally do but instead with greater performance. So what if they get addicted? If the skeleton is not available the user isn't going to forget how to be a soldier. And, just bc they will be using the suit doesn't mean they will stop working out. You sound jealous/envious of this tec

  • take this and attach it strait to a person's bones, with a plug hanging out of their back. Unplug the battery when you go to bed. Plug in new battery when u get out of bed. As this as this exoskeleton is i would say its possible. This would totally benefit people who cannot walk and have no chance in hell of walking. Unless you put this inside of computerized armor and add on some missiles and shit, this is quite useless for the military.

  • this beats the hell out of the XOS 2

  • Everything develops within the military field then trickles down to civilian fields as the cost is reduced due to production costs falling

  • why dont use for benefefit of the world? simple question

    Illuminati

  • @gmxgamer simple answer* and not rly corporation lobbyists is what you meant :P

  • @gmxgamer Waaaaaaaaaaay to expensive for practical use thats why..... Did you not hear what the suit is made of let alone what it would cost retail!!

    Sigh... NEXT!!!

  • @troubledseed lol

  • @gmxgamer Eventually it will be available. What better source of investors than the military! Once it is ready and mass produced, price goes down, next thing you know, factory workers are suiting up. I say 10-15 years from now.

  • Note to self, invest in Lockheed :)

  • the try to creat terminator soldiers nice

  • I dont think Lockheed is looking towards helping humanity for a better future instead is creating weaponry more for destruction .. if this is their goal i think Lockheed need to be burn down i love this world and the only one we all life in and some people only care about money and destruction if you wanna create wars first create interstellar ship and go make wars with other beings but pls stray out of this planet with your dumb invention ..

  • @McParcero Why do military contractors build these things? Because most other organizations and companies don't find them profitable, and most of the time it's just an "well-hearted" attempt to rake in more investors...

If the current state of politics should have taught you anything, it's that CEO's and politicians don't care about people, all they care about money and statistics....

  • cool cool but Japanese people make more stuff like that D:

  • @ roxas9192......that want a bomb. Its a 155mm artillery shell that is only triggered with what is called a fuze. A fuze being a timed/delayed or point detonation electronic source which is only activated through a certain amount of continuous revolutions, I.e, being shot out of a howitzer.

  • one day... we'll have gundams that's for sure. And when that time comes... my gundam's gonna get the biggest gun... and i'll let him have it installed in the best place.... between the legs.

  • OH YEA OK!! I'LL CARRY THIS BOMB RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!! *gets shot* BOOOOOM!!!!!!

  • i find it interesting that Lockeed makes it about a soldier.....Not a patient with ALS.....Not a laborer....like another post......That is all lockeed thinks about......

  • and is powered by solar and love.

  • jean claude van dam is "cyborg"

  • one step closer to create power armour

  • They have to implement AI step logger that would return the dead soldier home, waddling backwards, leaking brains for miles on end.. Now, THAT would save some money! Eh?! Eh?!

  • now soldiers can cost even more money when they go and make war for oil.

  • lol these things wouldnt make it easier for a soldier it would just allow their superiors to tell them to carry more shit

  • in poor countries they just use a mule

  • RUN FORREST ! RUN !

  • its devloping soon nuff walkers and and shit like spatan armor all base the sitting duck the the one guy said..

  • raytheons exoskeleton is better

  • Then comes a smart ass that knows where to shoot or disable the system the soldier the couldn't move because of all the hydraulics, congratulations you have a sitting duck....

  • @AhmadAboulFarag He can easily take off that exo but not his leg, so i think he prefers getting shot in the exo.

  • @TheCTimmerman I think it's generally a good idea, but I wouldn't recommend it for combat, or army use. It would be much better in factories were the worker has to handle engine blocks and assemble heavy items....

  • WHY IS THE BACK PACK ON HIS SHOULDERS??????????????? STUPID FAIL. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

  • Why dont they use this kind of tech for the benefit of humanity? There could be so many posiblities in medicine, and for those who work hard labours

  • @LocoKon

    Medicine, no.

Lockheed Martin is a major producer for the military. They have a duty to serve the military first.

But look on the bright side. In 5 years time, you could be seeing these exoskeletons in the receiving bays of civilian stores/warehouses.

  • @DontFearTheReaper1 NEW EXOSKELETONS BUY NOW!!! ONLY 50 kathtshtrhstokhsothksokthosathsths dollars and 95 cents.

  • @reptilionsarehere

You do realize that a good amount of our technology was first used by the military.

After all, the internet started out as a DARPA project for the military. A few years later, it was declassified and made available for civilian use.

So its not too far fetched that these exoskeletons might replace forklifts in a few years.

  • @LocoKon because they buy planes and buildings

  • @LocoKon

how does military use not benefit us?

If it makes the jobs of our soldiers more safe and easy, it's worth a shot

  • Comment removed

  • @LocoKon I dont see why use for the military automatically denotes that it therefore doesnt benefit humanity, and even damages us all in someway. The private civilian market already has tools like these in development, and if the demand arises, the supply will be met.

  • @LocoKon Sorry. This stuff is expensive as hell. About the only ones who have enough money to buy this right now are the Pentagon.

It'll get cheaper as time goes on, though. Betcha that by 2020 you'll see firefighters wearin' it.

  • @LocoKon Because the majority of humans are mostly a violent hateful race capable of incredible cruelty against any kind of form of life, especially their own.

  • @LocoKon they have actually :) /watch?v=OW2pBLQLHj0 its just that they dont say it loudly nor is the humanitarian one being made in America :)

  • @LocoKon Most the technology you see today comes from DARPA projects like this one. This was sent out for request for bids back in 1998. They even have phase III of a mobile unit that has a processor and software so powerful, it can map a pathogen, fold proteins, and find antidotes in the field within hours. There is no money in releasing technology to the public. That is until the military moves on to something new - then the corp puts in mass production for the public. War is money.

  • @LocoKon Because it wventually will...it always starts in military...

  • @LocoKon almost all medicine and technology was derived from wartime development.. bar gunpowder.. that was created trying to cure cancer. but this will more than likely be used (eventually) for people with severe muscle damage.

  • @LocoKon There are companies that are making this to aid disabled people. There are also in the process of using this for the "heavy" lifting in military bases which will eventually use be adopted by the civilian workforce.

  • @LocoKon There could be many possibilities, but who will fund such research? Things tend to trickle down from military research into civilian products. I'm not saying that is the right way to do, but that's how it usually works for products like this.

  • @LocoKon Think of it this way, it's being tested and used in a military environment so that when it comes out to consumer use, it'll be ready for anything.

Besides do you think Obama-care or Medicade would cover something like this, at this point?

  • @LocoKon because the art of war pays more, unfortunately.
