The black cab trade in London is not a monopoly, they're all self employed individuals who committed to learning London. Anyone can do it!
If you don't, won't or can't - don't expect the same rules, rights or respect. A black cab driver is a fully tested professional, the minicab driver is someone who owns a car and paid for a 'licence'.
Barely comparable business models at all.
