Joe Holmes didnt join the band until after the Ozzmosis album was complete. he was hired when a replacement for Zakk was needed and played on the Ozzmosis tour then left the band in 1998 for 2 years and came back for the down to earth album which is co-wrote a few of the songs, but didnt play on the album. the only song he played in, which was released, was 'walk on water' from beavis and butthead sound track.

I own every Original Sabbath/Ozzy album ever, and I can tell you that Ozzmosis was the last real Ozzy album. Black Rain sounds like a disc of his B-side recordings, it rocks but isn't the true Ozz. Down to Earth is a joke. Diary of a Madman is still the Champion.
