boiling them is much more humane think about it, it can feel the entire blade through its body and a short period after before it dies or it passes out after less than 5 seconds from extreme heat and then dies shortly after

It's actually more humane to kill it by slicing it in half. You kill it immediately whereas with boiling it is a slow painful death. When you boil lobsters the air escaping their shells makes it sound like they are screaming.
