  • i cried

  • This movie was so creepy, sad, and thought provoking.

    And the ending was hilarious.

  • I feel so much when all I can do is listen...

  • one of the best films i've ever seen, this morning in fact is when i saw it.

    very beautiful, very sad

Sam Rockwell gave an exceptional performance

i teared up a couple times, not embarrassed even if i'm a guy

  • IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS MOVIE THEN DO NOT WATCH VIDEO OR READ THE COMMENTS. I only say this because people tend to not read descriptions anymore. And I think that there re actually more spoilers in the comments, heh.

  • Dude do you mind if i use this song in a game mini-movie im doing?

  • @ReeCeDoW Hehe I wouldn't mind but it's not my music. Clint Mansell did this the song is from the movie's score.

  • I think Sam Rockwell 2.39 sums up the movie...

  • Where did you get the 3:43 picture?

  • @Jonte135 Well I just took the video and froze it at this spot. Freeze Frame! :)

  • Easy peasy... liftd that off the dvd... no big thing.

  • @jenke85 So what movie is it?

  • @FrosenIce Moon welcome To Lunar Industries.

  • I remembered actually WAITING for this movie to come out. I'd see the trailer like every other hour. When it finally came out, I realized that I never saw the trailer on television. I went to the theatres and this movie was in the "Indie" section, not the main section. I was in the theatres & no one else was there. I was alone and I saw this movie alone. I came out alone. I wish I had someone to talk to back then, I had never felt so alone...

great film. Duncan Jones & Clint Mansell are great.

  • @erg0apollo i watched it at home alone haha. its the type of movie that will make you think for days

  • @blackout2430 some movies you just need to watch alone to have the full effect

  • at 4:47 I cried like a baby... Ughh this movie is just so moving

  • I LOVE THIS SONG. AND WOW! I did not know that the second clone was actually a different actor! His name is Robin Chalk. He looks so much like Sam Rockwell.

  • @goldAUsilverAG The second actor was only used for body shots, all the talking etc was Sam Rockwell.

  • @TheLahness Thanks for the clarification!

  • 3:43 is the most powerful image in the movie.

    Symbolically, it sums it up.

  • @culbertsonew I have to completely 100% agree!

  • @culbertsonew I'm 20 years old and male, and I had tears in my eyes when I saw that part.

  • best, forever

  • Clint Mansell can do anything to you with his music...it's frightening. Check out the soundtrack for "The Fountain" if you want more

  • Thumbs up for Matt Berry being in this movie, and for hoping to see him in the next!!!!!

  • It's comforting to know that this scene broke more hearts than just mine.

  • @Jimmy4100 I think it's so powerful, so majestic and real...it breaks anyone's heart, if they have a heart to break

  • i still dont really get why sam #2 put sam#1 back into the crash site to die, was it so the next clone would have the same fate and find the clone at the crash site and start wondering? im a lil confused

  • @VantagismFTW there had to be a body at the crash site for the people to find

  • beautiful miusic ,best movie 10/10

  • Watched this last night. Very well done and Clint Mansell... well... he did it again lol :)

  • this movie scares ... because it is the truth. hope... is only lack of information....(Heiner Müller)

"Abandon hope all ye who enter here"

  • When Gerty told sam about him being a clone and you could see the Icon going from a sad face to a crying face. I cried lol...

  • Truly Amazing!

  • a soundtrack that has the power to break your heart...

    thank you

  • This film is awesome....the scene where Sam breaks down and says "I just wanna go home" is heartbreaking stuff... Rockwell deserved a lot more credit for his role in this movie.

  • @FATTYCHANNEL Totally agree with you. Rockwell is incredible, such a real performance from beginning to end, and the scene you're refering to, with the music, is just so overwhelming. I wasn't expecting this film to be like this :(

  • best film & music since years

  • The music is heartbreaking. It is so appropriate for this movie.

    Great music. Great movie.

  • Love it! =)

  • In space, dog is not man's best friend, GERTY is =) .

  • I can't believe I just discovered this movie! It is now in my personal top 5 best movies of all time. This movie made me realize how important everyone in my life is. And that we ARE just human & should make the very best of it while we are alive. It tore out my heart when he spoke to his daughter & realized he would never see her. A rare masterpiece!

  • @Marsg22 I felt the same, so glad I finally got to see it, having been recommended it a few times, and having seen Mark Kermode big it up. Can't believe how overlooked Sam Rockwell's performance was, and as for Mansell's soundtrack...I'm a big Mansell fan anyway, and this has to be my favourite. Heartbreaking when you watch certain scenes....We all know which scenes we're talking about :(

  • @Marsg22 Agreed man

  • To wake up one day, and realize that your whole life was just a memory, to realize you're just a clone, removing every sense of purpose or goal or dream that you had in life to nothing. Losing purpose in life is like losing the soul. Great Movie!

  • The scene (partially shown) where they are both remembering her and #2 looks over and sees him fading is heartbraking. Then when he carries him to the crash site.......awesome.

  • @krypt04link That scene makes me tear up everytime!!!!

  • @krypt04link One of the few films that makes my heart swell and ache just thinking about it. The scene in which he talks to his daughter will forever be one of the most unexpectedly emotional moments in cinema for me. Rockwell + Mansell = Win

  • @krypt04link That is the...3rd time I cried I think. My first time, at least. I really lost it when he stopped talking to his daughter and said "I want to go home." Strange, thought, watching it a second ime I actually cried more, just because there were so many hints from the beginning that foreshadowed the end, it made him seem so hopeless.
