  • fucking lol this was my mates glider

  • Once you have to refer to the Highway Code you know you have a problem.

  • Thou shalt keep up thy airspeed, least the ground reach up and smite thee.

  • definitions:

  • The glider did not "lost control" - just run out of lift. You can write that again as it sounds idiotic.

  • did he had the right of way at this cross road? :-)

  • intro of the song sounds like one of Chef'special songs

  • The street sign is bent inwards? WTF?

  • @Mrfishkopp Why not, maybe it went backwards before 'landing'

  • a blonde question: engine failure?

  • I heard he was tugging on the flap leaver instead of the airbrake..... oopppss

  • @lhitchins This is an air cadet glider, there are no flaps just air brakes! (the type of glider is a Grob Viking T1) Unfotunately i have not seen the crash investigation, but NevilleStyke seems to have it in one! (See comments below)

  • @turtles24601 Apologies, just seen the crash investigation, it is a civillian glider, but of same type

  • @turtles24601 I think your right and I meant to say the undercarriage lever, I know it was one of the two, I live about 300yards from the crash site and that is my local gliding club across the road.

  • @turtles24601 Not a Grob!!!! ASW19B It was my Glider it was a lever interface problem that caused the crash.

  • I would like it if the photographer could hold the camera still...

  • No loss of control or spin; he just had no air-brakes extended and overshot the aerodrome boundary. Spot landing!
