if they wanna get rid of a landmark try getting rid of the downtown slavins store which cannot be used for anything now

I can't believe lincoln school is gone...I remember walking down that street almost everyday with my grandparents then I go back home a few weeks ago and its gone. An idea to preserve these landmarks is to try and register them like they did here in my new town we have alot of buildings that are still standing due to that fact

very few people in massena fight to preserve the old landmarks. the politicians and developers always win when it comes to demolishing massena's past. if you try to fight -- they come up with list and excuses of why a place like lincoln school couldnt be saved. it cost just as much to demolish a building as to preserve it in my opinion. massena is infamous for destroying all its old structures with character as artist vern mock once said to me.

@johnswackyworld The Lincoln School was right up my street. :D I never went into it, But I used to walk around it with my friends. then, One day, I come home from school, And rubble only remained. :O
