channel catfish at 1 to 20 lbs are good loking but at that size ugly but i catfish for them all the tim

I catch a lot of big fish but I anchor fish, I have never caught any flatheads drifting, that was why I asked, how far is your bait off the bottom, I fish the ohio from Cairo to Louisville and sometimes above, but mostly above smithland dam. usually catch a few over 50 every year.

just drifting, we would go up past where we wanted to fish, and let the current take us over the spot we wanted, no anchor. Are you catching fish like these?
