Someone Please release this on DVD... This Is An Instant Classic. Between Cloris Leachman, Richard Benjamin & Others, This Is An All Time Favorite Of Mine..!!
WOW ! haven't seen this flick since around in the early 1980's or Mid 1980's when it would run on Cable T. V. alot. Thanks for posting . great to see it after all these years.
Havent seen this movie since I was a kid. Didnt even think to look for till my daughter asked for suggestions for old movies. The Great All Nighter was my first thought wich i found but then I told her about scavenger hunt and thank you for posting it.
Scavenger Hunt is WAAAAYYYY better than It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World! This is one of the greatest comedies ever!! I do own it on VHS. The cast is incredible. Even Arnold has a pre fame cameo. Ricard Benjamin is my favorite. The things he did in the name of money! hahaha
Thank you sooooo much, I love this movie! saw it when I was a kid and it never left my mind!! So happy to find it here, cuz I can't find it anywhere else!
aawww I haven't seen Scavenger Hunt since i was really little... my mom used to loive this movie... she died not too long ago... this movie totally reminds me of her
For 1979 the cast from Richard Benjamin to Tony Randall was very strong. I think each name there had appeared in BIG hit films in the 70's. The supporting cast of mainly Love Boat type TV stars kind of gave the film a bad reputation. I think if unknowns were placed in the supporting roles the main cast would have been more appreciated and more time spent with them. That's what they did in Caddyshack, the members were great comedians and the caddys were unknowns.
Nevermind, the title is MIDNIGHT MADNESS 1980. I recalled one of the celebrities and knew he was in the movie The Dream Team with Michael Keaton. So I traced it form there on IMDB and found Midnight Madness.
There was a similar movie to this, but it had younger people in it. It was about the same year, 1979 or 1980. Anybody know of the movie I am talking about?
I liked this movie too! I bought the VHS. San Diego has changed alot since the movie was made. The Marriot Hotel and the Convention Center wasn't built yet!
saw this movie during a birthday party when i was about 11 years old or so, back in the early 80's...and it was a family fav ever since....but I'm closing in on 40 now, and have a familly of my own, but have never been able to find this at a dvd store....thanks soooo much for uploading it.....i can finaly show my kids....i've been using the quote 'Hi, I'm Sven...welcome to the gym' for years, and now my kids can see where that came from :)
The last time I saw this movie was in '82. I loved this movie as a kid. Definitely a comedy classic flick. I'm amazed to find this movie, thanks for uploading it.
OMG! I can't believe you found a copy! I have one on DVD but lack the tech to upload it. Best of all this movie is officially in public domain! There is no reason youtube should delete it! lol: 3:36 CROAK!
