  • I remember watching this movie a thousand times In the 80's

    Had it on Beta Max...lol

  • it's like the original rat race. both great comedies.

  • lol the opening music is almost Peter Greenaway-ish--casts a whole new light on the film...

  • Of course when I was eleven and saw this for the first time I had no idea how smutty the beginning is.

  • i love this movie. Been trying to find it for years thank you for posting.

  • Scavenger Hunt is WAAAAYYYY better than It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World! This is one of the greatest comedies ever!! I do own it on VHS. The cast is incredible. Even Arnold has a pre fame cameo. Ricard Benjamin is my favorite. The things he did in the name of money! hahaha

  • Damn, that nurse sounded like she was humping somebody for a minute LOL

  • I think Len Maltin gives this a BOMB. But i love it, the opening is funny!!

  • The first four minutes... just wow.

  • aawww I haven't seen Scavenger Hunt since i was really little... my mom used to loive this movie... she died not too long ago... this movie totally reminds me of her

  • Vincent Price looks like crap in this film. :(

  • For 1979 the cast from Richard Benjamin to Tony Randall was very strong. I think each name there had appeared in BIG hit films in the 70's. The supporting cast of mainly Love Boat type TV stars kind of gave the film a bad reputation. I think if unknowns were placed in the supporting roles the main cast would have been more appreciated and more time spent with them. That's what they did in Caddyshack, the members were great comedians and the caddys were unknowns.

  • I love this movie! Thanks for posting. I wish they would put it on dvd. It has so many well known actors in it.

  • i need to find a copy of this!

  • Nevermind, the title is MIDNIGHT MADNESS 1980. I recalled one of the celebrities and knew he was in the movie The Dream Team with Michael Keaton. So I traced it form there on IMDB and found Midnight Madness.

  • @CityOfLewisville Thanks Happy YouTubing and good luck! :)

  • There was a similar movie to this, but it had younger people in it. It was about the same year, 1979 or 1980. Anybody know of the movie I am talking about?
